HKKF will launch the Multi-Ride Ticket of the new ferry license period starting from April 2021. The application arrangements and the related information are as follows:
1. Starting from 22 March 2021, the Multi-Ride Ticket will be open for application and the Application Forms will be distributed at all HKKF piers. Successful applicants can start to use their Multi-Ride Tickets from 1 April 2021.
2. Applicants of the Multi-Ride Ticket need to prepare and submit the required documents with the filled application form at any of our piers. Upon the receipt of the duly completed application form and required documents, it will take at least five working days for processing. Upon collecting the physical Multi-Ride Ticket, holder can start to use the Multi-Ride Ticket (For details, please refer to the Multi-Ride Ticket Application Form).
3. The coverage of the Multi-Ride Ticket of each route is as follows:
Yung Shue Wan route: The use of Multi-Ride Ticket of Yung Shue Wan route is limited to the travelling between Central and Yung Shue Wan on weekdays (Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays). It includes 20 one-way trips for adults on weekdays and is subject to a maximum validity period of 30 days. If used on Sunday or public holidays, the holder must pay the fare difference between weekday and holiday ferry service. Each Multi-Ride Ticket can only be used once for each sailing. Travelling direction is not restricted.
Sok Kwu Wan route: The use of Multi-Ride Ticket of Sok Kwu Wan route is limited to the travelling between Central and Sok Kwu Wan on weekdays (Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays). It includes 20 one-way trips for adults on weekdays and is subject to a maximum validity period of 30 days. If used on Sunday or public holidays, the holder must pay the fare difference between weekday and holiday ferry service. Each Multi-Ride Ticket can only be used once for each sailing. Travelling direction is not restricted.
Peng Chau route: The use of Multi-Ride Ticket of Peng Chau route is limited to the travelling between Central and Peng Chau on ordinary ferries on weekdays (Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays). It includes 20 one-way trips for adults on weekday ordinary ferries and is subject to a maximum validity period of 30 days. Each Multi-Ride Ticket can only be used once for each sailing. Travelling direction is not restricted. The fare difference arrangement is as follows:
i. If used for fast ferry service on weekday, the holder must pay the fare difference between weekday ordinary ferry service and weekday fast ferry service.
ii. If used for ordinary ferry service on Sunday or public holidays, the holder must pay the fare difference between weekday ordinary ferry service and holiday ordinary ferry service.
iii. If used for fast ferry service on Sunday or public holidays, the holder must pay the fare difference between weekday ordinary ferry service and holiday fast ferry service.
