“Central – Yung Shue Wan” Temporary Ferry Service for Cleanliness Enhancement

Due to the outbreak of “COVID-19”, we strive to provide better health environment to our passengers and staff.  Starting from 16 March 2020 (Monday), we will temporarily adjust the following sailing schedules from Mondays to Fridays between Central and Yung Shue Wan (see table below) for additional cleaning of our vessels.  We will closely monitor the development of the coronavirus disease, the need of our passengers and the class resumption schedule to resume our normal service accordingly.  Your understanding is highly appreciated.  Let’s fight against the epidemic together!

HKKF Adopt Measures to Safeguard Health of Passengers and Staff Members

Given the recent Wuhan coronavirus case in Hong Kong, as a further protective measure for passengers and staff members, we adopt these measures:

  1. HKKF have stepped up the cleaning of piers, ferry cabin and air-conditioning systems with antiseptic solution and bleach. 
  2. Alcohol-based hand rub (ABHR) dispensers have been installed at the ferry piers for passengers and frontline staffs.
  3. HKKF have posted the Notice of the Health Advice for Passengers Using Public Transport on the Prevention of Severe Respiratory Disease associated with a Novel Infectious Agent at the ferry piers, reminding passengers to maintain personal hygiene.
  4. To prevent the spread of germs, we have reminded our frontline staffs to wear masks when working.

Registration reminder for Public Transport Fare Subsidy Scheme

To cope with the implementation of Public Transport Fare Subsidy Scheme on 1 January 2019, passenger should take note of the following hyperlinks when buying holiday return ticket, monthly ticket for Yung Shue Wan Line, Sok Kwu Wan Line and Peng Chau Line as well as upgrade to fast ferry for Peng Chau Line in order to early perform the registration to link up relevant expenses with Octopus record for calculation of total public transport expenses and subsidy amount under the scheme.
